Meligha Garfield

Originally from Rochester, NY, Meligha Garfield is a cultural strategist and higher ed leader passionate about building inclusive, tech-forward spaces. With degrees in Government, Africana Studies, and Public Administration, he blends policy, creativity, and community to drive impact.

At Georgia Tech, he directs Culture, Innovation & Technology within the Department of Belonging & Student Support, leading initiatives that fuse culture, storytelling, and student innovation. He previously launched Black cultural centers at both Georgia Tech and the University of Utah.

In his free time, Meligha enjoys freelance graphic design, voiceover work, and indulging his love for hip hop, ’80s R&B, movies, and comic books.
