PRIDE

PRIDE seeks to build a supportive and affirming atmosphere for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual employees – and their straight allies. The mission is to raise awareness about the workplace challenges faced by LGBTQIA staff and faculty.

Principal Empowerment Officer Tegra Myanna

Tegra Myanna joined Georgia Tech in May 2020 to serve as the Director of the LGBTQIA Resource Center. Tegra joined us from Macalester College where they previously served as the Assistant Director and acting-Director of the Lealtad-Suzuki Center in the Department of Multicultural Life. Their work adopts an intersectional lens to address issues of gender and sexuality. Specifically, at Tech, they focus on community building, education, and advocacy on issues that impact the LGBTQIA community and serve as a campus resource for belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
